Parrots

Parroting; something I have noticed,

People just seem content

To repeat what they have loaded,

Without letting information ferment.

The lack of originality,

Is pervasive amongst the multitude.

Who think their words have finality,

With a snobbish attitude.

Reading a plethora is great.

But if only others thoughts you collect,

Then your intellect has a fate,

As your voice falls to neglect.

While many gain information fair,

True intelligence is surely rare.
