Boulder in the desert dry Desperately in want to try To feel the sweet relief That will deliver it from grief If only a Deluge would come Water a boulders rum, Let it flow Let it flow Clouds thick with the richness Release alleviation from this sickness O clouds who hold the floodgates back Kiss the boulder with what that it lack That moisture pushes at your hold Ever waiting of a moment so cold, Let it flow Let it flow Through this desert of high sky Where pleasant sunshine goes to die This boulder Seldom met with grace Clenching dust to crawl its pace That it may melt to a puddle Embrace its own piddle, Flow Flow By night the boulder gently wept As the torrent the desert landscape swept As with the others nothing was kept. Pleasing was the damning precipitation The boulders liquor of salvation From the labor of its desperation.
