For you I have pity

My simple creature.

For whom life didn't nurture.

You can never be witty,

Or contrive anything nifty,

Or understand a strange feature.

Did you ever have a teacher?

Will you always be lost in this city?

I wonder how your world appears,

How much you can understand.

You all drown yourselves in beers.

Life seeming so bland,

Subjected so to many fears,

Yet, you still withstand.
