Walking to the lawn I decided to watch the dawn, Peak over the distant mountain crests, Deeply in the cool morning air A time you’ll remember if you stare, With me into rosy red beams as they give to golden light. Do you remember the time you spent with me? Together in my room reciting Anabel Lee, Or when we sat in the parking lot Talking for hours of I don’t remember what. I remember holding your fingers when you went to stand. Feeling the calluses on your fretting hand Remember when you sprayed me with those perfumes? At the mall a tripped I had refused. I remember so much about you. But I don’t remember why we said goodbye.
