Pax Anima I should have told you How special you were How much your are Still I remember Your dear friendship We were neighbors that’s how we met You are quiet and shy, a gamer girl Eventually sharing with me a vignette And I finding in your person a pearl. When another woman took my heart And kept it in a cooler full of ice. You were the most sweetest and nice Supporting with advice so smart. At that party when the heartbreaker Showed how little she cared of me You we there, helping as a caretaker Of the drunken puddle I had to be. When your boyfriend upset you And our group went out at night I hugged you as the north wind blew Holding you filled me with delight. Always respectful of your feelings I did not tell you the way I felt Now two years past, I’m still dreaming, Of bearing all to you, this jewel heartfelt. But we’ve moved away, you to the bay I to LA, now it’s too late to say.
