1. As Thoughts Go By

If nothing is perfect

And death is nothing

Then death is perfection

This he thought as he walked

Along the cliffs edge feeling eternity

Expand with the breeze

Leaning, feeling gravity's pull

From the top down.

But the hands of faith

Caught him.

Realizing with the swirling wind

That suicide was not a clean solution

It was not truly a freedom from misery

Just passing the pain released

To another person.

2 Living Spaces

I lived this long what's another day more,

No need yet to see that faraway shore.

It was said that I wanted to help others,

But to do so first I must have to suffer.

The lessons through lose, the tears it will cost,

Despite forcing a pause, loss can be success' cause.

Whatever I've felt others have felt too,

In mindful compassion I seek to do.

Life is only ever just a moment,

Passing in the constant unfurlment,

Yet worth so much is the presence of becoming,

To be in and beyond the now, to be living.
