Things I learned when my car battery died Pushing my car back as far as I tried. Neutral means it’ll keep rolling taking Care to keep pace, hop in, breaking Before hitting the vacuum more than 25 cent Sitting dead, no jumper cables, second incident. Calling people left and right No one close enough tonight. Frustration, relatable Situation, regrettable. There’s no one to call And no reason to stall. Locked parked car Sidelined not too far, Sprinting, closest location Cables, run to station “ could you please give me a jump?” Here with a sweaty smile and the hood up. That car’s leaving, she doesn’t want to talk to me, Pump weaving, “dude I’d appreciate it you’d be So kind as to help me start my car?” Right on Lesson learned? Just pay it forward.
