This is how millennials date We choose a restaurant with healthy options And it’s ok to show up late. The man does not need to open the door Or maybe he should hard to tell anymore. But definitely don’t touch her seat Let her do it she won’t think it sweet If you try and do too much for her. Millennials try to not show that we’re Interested in each other if we just want sex. And if you do like each other well next Time we’ll talk about intimacy and such Though we don’t really talk that much Because no one is sure what offends And dinner is not where one defends Beliefs in politics, peoples, places, or faith. We skirt every topic, dip toes in our truths Wear victimhood as badges of our youths. When we leave each pays their own bill We make plans for another time but will We ever meet again?
