Let me be grateful While I have have it The charm of good magic Pass the Great Wall of Topanga Curving roads of nausea I hear voices far and close In the heat I greet the host An English home on hill high ground In a California valley town Flower to the people, I’ll preach from the steeple I don’t believe in sheeple. I believe a simple push Or an intellectual ambush Can shake the dust off any eyes But the power of comfortable lies Leads to this mentality I despise. If I had eloquence of Tupac Shakur I would make it known for sure But I’m more like the Joker And the gravity of madness Took the push past this There was stop to miss And when I did I knew I never Be that clever.
