Watch it hunger

Watch it grow

To a flame from a glow

Fire is a living thing.

Watch it spin and dance

With air it twists and turns

Leaping forth it burns

Fire is a living thing

Licking high to cloudy heavens

Plasma sparks leap of faith

Cooling blue smoke coalescing

In serpentine curls around me.
