Can’t Breath

I can’t breath

Five men over one

I can’t breath

Dying words that plead

The choking one to heed

The fear in his voice

I can’t breath

Learning the legal choice

There’ll be no prosecution

Of this street side execution.

So is this really our reality?

The abuses of police brutality

Are not against moral humanity?

What makes some better to be

The judge, executioner, hear the plea

We begrudge that here we’re not free.
