I would enjoy collecting

Vinyl records and vibing

I’m just in the poor phase

Of my life I guess.

Youth in poverty

I was content

Until I learned of more.

Spent my days in books

When I was free

And I knew me.

Youth in labor

I can’t escape the minimum wage

every time I climb

I hit a glass ceiling

and I’ve gotten no feeling

that’ll make it at my age

Short term memory

But my problems

Are permanently long

So I try to write

A simple song

Only to get it wrong
