Morning Star

Snow capped mountains in the red glow of sunset

Leaving my car in Hancock Park a walk toward Wilshire along highland.

Thinking about sex and virtue.

Of how I never meant to hurt you.

What is judgmental and what is curiosity?

How does one alone resolve the question

One on one love becomes undone infatuation

Indole scents and incense, the peak of satisfaction.

What is the nature of attraction

If the scales of experience are tipped

If I had sway over every scattered leaf

Directing the wind blown would I have relief

The rocky shore reflects the canopy of heaven

The shells a dusky image of a star

In a sea green sky

Ironic Venus is so beautiful in the sky

A symbol of love a beauty

Bright shining concealing a surface of hell.
